Mechanics Bank is pleased to announce Megan Boggs, Kelsey Carver, Sally Caskey and Angie Kern have been awarded the James A. Courtney Award. The Award is presented to Mechanics employees who best exemplify the company’s mission – “to pursue excellence in every possible way to enrich the lives of people and the communities we serve.” The award is presented on a peer nomination basis.
Megan Boggs joined Mechanics in 2015 as a Customer Service Representative. She later served as a Customer Service Specialist, Senior Customer Service Specialist and Assistant Branch Manager prior to her current position of Answer Center Specialist. Megan holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Mount Vernon Nazarene University.
Kelsey Carver joined Mechanics in 2021 as a Brand Impact Specialist. Kelsey holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Marietta College.
Sally Caskey joined Mechanics in 2005 and has served as a Senior Staff Accountant and Assistant Controller prior to her current position of Shareholder Relations and Corporate Administration. Sally holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University.
Angie Kern joined Mechanics in 2019 as a Customer Service Representative. Angie later served as a Customer Service Specialist and Senior Customer Service Specialist prior to her current position as Assistant Branch Manager.
The James A. Courtney Award, named for Mechanics’ former President, is the company’s most prestigious recognition of performance. Mechanics Bank is an independent, community bank with nine convenient locations.
