We are pleased to announce the following Assistant Secretary-Treasurer promotions:
Carmen Batten – Carmen joined Mechanics in September 2018 as a Customer Service Representative. She is currently in the position of Commercial Loan Service Representative. Carmen is also attending The Ohio State University, pursuing a degree in business.
Nicole Boyd – Nicole joined Mechanics in May 2016 as a Customer Service Representative and has served as a Senior Customer Service Specialist. Nicole is the Good Life Coordinator and is active with our Be The Change program.
Kelsey Carver – As our Brand Impact Specialist, Kelsey joined Mechanics in September 2021. Kelsey graduated from Marietta College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication.
Sarah Jenkins – Sarah joined Mechanics in August 2020 as a Customer Service Representative and was then promoted to Customer Service Specialist. Currently, Sarah serves as an Answer Center Specialist.
Angie Kern – Angie joined Mechanics in 2019 as a Customer Service Representative. She then served as a Customer Service Specialist and is currently the Senior Customer Service Specialist at the Main Office.
Trinity Murray – Trinity joined Mechanics in November 2019 as a Customer Service Representative. Her most recent role is serving as a Customer Service Specialist at Madison. Trinity is pursuing a degree at Columbus State Community College.
Kennady Smedley – Kennady joined Mechanics in May 2021 as a Customer Service Representative and was then promoted to a Customer Service Specialist. She is currently Shelby’s Senior Customer Service Specialist. Kennady has an Associate Degree in Business from North Central State College and is pursuing a degree at Ashland University.
Elise Watkins – Elise joined Mechanics in May 2017 as a Customer Service Representative. She also served as a Loan Service Representative in the Commercial and Mortgage Loan Departments. Currently, Elise is a Commercial Credit Analyst at the Main office. Elise has a Bachelor of Science in Business from Marian University.
We are pleased to announce the following Assistant Vice President promotions:
Amanda Boyce – Amanda joined Mechanics in 2019 with over nineteen years of experience in banking. Amanda served as a Private Banker and Human Resources Specialist prior to her current role of Assistant Human Resources Manager.
Ann Akers – Ann joined Mechanics in 2023 with over 20 years of experience in banking. She is currently serving as the Risk Quality Assurance Manager. Ann has a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Ashland University; a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Ashland University; and an Associate of Arts degree from The Ohio State University.
We are pleased to announce the following Vice President promotions:
Sally Caskey – Sally joined the Mechanics accounting team in March 2005. She has worked as the Senior Staff Accountant and is currently serving as the Assistant Controller. Sally also plays a vital role as our Shareholder Relations Manager. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Bowling Green State University.
Illya Boronka – Illya joined Mechanics in June 2013 as a Summer Intern. He then worked as Customer Service Specialist and Senior CSS at our Trimble Road office before serving as Assistant Branch Manager at the Ontario office. He currently serves as a Residential Mortgage and Consumer Loan Officer at our Main office. Illya was recognized as a James A. Courtney recipient in 2021. Illya has an associate degree in accounting from North Central State College.
